My wife Susanne and I have been married for 22 years and have one college age son and three daughters. We met at Briercrest College and got married a year after graduation. We were youth pastors for 8 years in Abbotsford and it was during that time that I completed a masters degree in Christian Education. We served for 6 years on staff at Sunwest Christian Fellowship in Calgary and it was during that time that we called by God to go on a wonderful church planting adventure back to the lower mainland of BC. We started Coast Hills Community Church at our home in Cloverdale in 2003. It has been an amazing experience to see how God has shaped this local church to make a real difference in the lives of so people.
I enjoy sports and outdoor adventures like hockey, biking trips and motorcycling. I also love to go for beach walks with Susanne, skype with my college son and take my daughters for chocolate extreme blizzards at DQ.
My wife Diane and I have been married for 44 years and have raised five children, and are now on the verge of being empty nesters. We met at University in Manitoba and have journeyed joyfully together through Seminary in Chicago and then through 37 years of being a Pastoral Couple, 12 years in Saskatchewan and the rest of the time at three different Churches here in the Greater Vancouver area. We came to Coast Hills in the summer of 2010 and I am serving as Pastor of Care on a half-time basis. We love the atmosphere at Coast Hills Church where laughter abounds among the volunteers and Church staff.
My hobbies have been jogging, racket ball, and golf. Recently it’s mainly golf. I am energized by social interaction and make a significant contribution toward Tim Horton’s profitability.
I have had the opportunity to be involved in youth ministry for over 15 years. I find great joy in seeing young people and families transformed by the generosity of Jesus. It is a privilege to help shape lives that "do justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God". I look forward to what God has in store for this community at Coast Hills.
Sharon and I continue to experience great joy and adventure while raising our two children, Elliot (3) and Maelle (17 months), they teach us so much. Sharon and I both work part-time as to be able to be around our kids more in these very formative years.
Eight years ago I had the joy of starting the kidz life children's ministry with a fantastic team of people. We want to see children find joy and life in Jesus and have an awareness of His presence during the week. We are so excited about our Sunday mornings and using that time to present the life transforming truths of Scripture.
Wayne and I have been married 22 years. I have been involved in youth and children's ministry from that point on. We have four kids and I love being their mom! I have a Bachelors of Biblical Studies from Briercrest Bible College and a B.A. in Psychology from Trinity Western University.
I love going for long walks/jogging, reading great books, a good cup of coffe and chocolate mmmmm....
My favourite verse right now is...Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Eph. 3:20.
I grew up on the coast in White Rock and I feel closest to God when I am enjoying his beautiful creation. I have been married for 21 years to my wonderful husband Brad and we have been blessed with two amazing teenagers. Over the past 25 years I have worked in many types of businesses including advertising, construction and education, but I have grown the most working in ministry at Coast Hills. I love my church family!
My name is Tracy Cudmore and I enjoy working with numbers and making them balance out. I am thankful that God has allowed me to use this gift for His Kingdom as a bookkeeper. My greatest call in life was being a mother, and although my 3 children are now young adults themselves, I still enjoy having that role in their lives in different ways. I love Jesus and made a committed decision to respond to His call for my heart in my early 20’s. Life has not always been easy but He has been faithful to walk with me and give me just what I needed at the right time. A verse that has special meaning to me is Isaiah 41:13 – “For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”
