Making a commitment to be a participating member of Coast Hills Community Church is a significant step in your Christian life. It symbolizes the reality of your Christian faith, your personal relationship with Jesus Christ that you have publicly confessed through adult water baptism, and your desire to grow and serve other Christians who are part of the body of Christ. It indicates a definite commitment that you are willing to lay down your privileges and take up your responsibilities to help the church of Christ fulfill its God-appointed purpose.
Why Covenant?
The strength of any organization lies in its core supporters or members. At Coast Hills we believe that God has a specific call on both churches and individuals. The participating membership of Coast Hills takes on the personal responsibility of accepting God’s call to be active supporters of this faith community in prayer, time, spiritual gifts and financial resources.
A participating member also accepts the spiritual responsibility to support, clarify and engage in God’s call on this body. Participating members help protect the vision and integrity of Coast Hills. They provide spiritual protection through prayer and a high commitment to live lives of integrity, protecting their personal witness as well as the reputation of the Bride of Christ.
By becoming a part of the Participating Membership of Coast Hills, you are indicating your desire to be a disciple of Christ who is:
Loving Jesus passionately;
Involved in God’s Work in and outside the church;
Finding Friendship in God’s Family, and
Extending God’s Grace to lost people.
If you have any questions, require more information or are interested in becoming a Participating Member, please contact the Coast Hills Ministry Centre at 604-576-7656 or email info@coasthillschurch.com.
